Currently about halfway through its Kickstarter campaign, the Skate Crate combines the scrappy ingenuity of a previous era with 2014 technology and craftsmanship to make a sturdy ride-on toy for both little and big kids. I love that you’ve got options depending on just how much DIY you’d like to do with your Skate Crate. Purchase the ready-to-ride Skate version in The Flying Tiger, The Race Way, or The Sidewalk Screamer design, or grab the Racing Sticker Kit to customize your Skate Crate with its own number and stripes. The Skate Crate campaign on Kickstarter has about two weeks left to reach its funding goal. Early supporters will find some very cool rewards like custom artwork or family bundles so that everyone can start riding together.
Edited to add: Skate Crate got funded and their awesome scooters are available for purchase.
