  • Raw eggs carry salmonella bacteria, which may be harmful, especially during pregnancy.
  • A salmonella bacterium basically poisons the food, and though it doesn’t affect your baby directly, it may make you sick. You may experience vomiting and diarrhea, high temperature and headache, stomach pain and dehydration.
  • Salmonella is one of the most common causes of food poisoning that moves through infected eggs and poultry. Drink lots of liquids to restore the fluids lost through salmonella-affect.
  • If you suffer from high blood cholesterol, it would be better to consult your doctor before consuming eggs.

  • Do not leave the cooked eggs at room temperature for longer than 2 hours, even hard boiled eggs.
