- Over dosage of Vit C can raise the risk of preterm birth.

- Sometimes vitamin C can cause gas, bloating, cramps, and diarrhoea during pregnancy. In such cases, the supplement should be stopped immediately and the doctor consulted.
- It can also lead to developing kidney stones.
