You Need:

  • Sprouts
  • Whole wheat bread
  • Yellow, red and green capsicum
  • Olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Tomato slices
  • Black olives
  • Dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Mozzarella cheese

For marinade mix the following:

  • Vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • Powdered sugar
  • Salt

How To:

  • Preheat oven at 200 degree C.
  • Pierce capsicum with a fork, brush olive oil and roast on
    open flame. Let it cool. Wash in cold water and remove skin, stem and seeds. Cut into thin slices.
  • Mix capsicum, olive oil, salt and pepper. Divide in equal portions.
  • Cut bread into two pieces at the center. Cut these into two more pieces.

You Need:

For stuffing:

  • Dough using soya flour
  • Boiled potatoes
  • Chopped methi leaves
  • Crumbled tofu
  • Turmeric powder
  • Dried mango powder
  • Chopped green chillies
  • Salt


  • Whole wheat flour
  • Soya oil

How To:

  • Mix the ingredients of stuffing. Keep aside.
  • Roll out the dough into circles for the paratha. Place stuffing in the center and fold the edges to close the circle.

  • Bajra soaked overnight and drained

  • Water

  • Pressure cook bajra, moong dal, salt and water.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they crackle, add asafetida and turmeric powder. Add this over the khichdi, mix and cook on low flame for few minutes.

You Need:

  • Split urad dal
  • Chopped spinach
  • Minced garlic
  • Chopped ginger, tomato
  • Onion
  • Green chilli
  • Turmeric powder
  • Water
  • Salt

For tempering:

  • Oil
  • Red chilli powder
  • Cumin seeds
  • Asafetida

How To:

  • Wash dal and pressure cook with water, turmeric powder, ginger, garlic, green chilli and tomato. Once cool, mash well.
  • Heat oil in pan and add cumin seeds. Once they crackle, add asafetida and red chilli powder. Add cooked dal and spinach. Add more water if required.
  • Cook till spinach is soft and blends with dal. These vegetarian pregnancy recipes are easy to make.

  • Mixed beans of choice
  • Grated carrots
  • Diced beetroot, pumpkin, zucchini, capsicum

  • Pureed tomatoes
  • Oil
