  • 5 ounce can of pinto beans rinsed
  • 3/4 cup mild salsa
  • 1 heart of romaine
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar

How To:

  1. Take a small microwave safe bowl and combine the beans and ½-cup salsa.
  2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes and then leave it aside.
  3. Tear the lettuce into small pieces.
  4. Then divide the mixture among the taco shells and top it with Cheddar cheese and remaining salsa.

2. Nutella Brownies:

You Will Need:

  • 1 1/4 cup Nutella
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

How To:

  1. Grease a baking tray and preheat it to 350F.
  2. Mix all the three ingredients in a large bowl until the batter acquires a smooth consistency.
  3. Pour the mixture into a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Make sure your child does not bake the brownies for too long.
  5. Let the brownies cool before serving them.

3. Taco Pizza:

You Will Need:

  • 1-pound lean chicken
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • mix 10 ounces of pizza dough
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 2-3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 4 green onions, chopped

How To:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F. Roast the chicken over medium heat.
  2. Then add the taco seasoning to the chicken according to the directions.
  3. Place the pizza dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Then put the refried beans into a microwave bowl and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Spread the beans over the pizza crust.
  6. Top it with roasted chicken, olives, onions, tomatoes and cheese.
  7. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.

4. Shell Pasta With Cheddar:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shells pasta
  • 1-cup white cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How To:

  1. Take a medium saucepan and simmer milk and pasta over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  2. Once the pasta is cooked, remove from the heat and add cheese.
  3. Stir until the cheese melts.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

5. Peanut Butter Banana Quesadillas:

  • 2-tablespoon peanut butter
  • ½ medium bananas
  • 1-tablespoon chocolate chips

How To:

  1. Spread the peanut butter on the tortillas.
  2. Then slice the bananas and arrange them neatly over half of the tortillas.
  3. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the banana slices and fold the tortilla.
  4. Cook the quesadilla over medium heat until it turns golden brown.

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How To:

  1. Take a microwave safe bowl and whisk sugar, cornstarch and cocoa together.
  2. Then whisk the milk well, so that it does not have any lumps.
  3. Place it in the microwave and cook on high for three minutes.
  4. Stir and cook for another minute.
  5. Keep stirring until it turns thick.
  6. Then add in the vanilla extract.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk

How To:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F for 3 minutes.
  2. Grease a baking sheet or line it with a paper liner.
  3. In a bowl, combine sugar and butter.
  4. Then beat the eggs, one at a time.
  5. Then stir in the vanilla essence.
  6. Then combine flour and baking powder and mix well with the cream mixture.

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-tablespoon olive oil

How To:

  1. In a food processor, combine garbanzo beans, cumin, salt, garlic, olive oil and blend on a low speed.
  2. Then gradually add the bean liquid until you achieve the desired consistency.
