1. Easy Nachos Recipe :

You need:

  • Tomatoes
  • Corns
  • Kidney beans
  • Ground cumin and paprika
  • Onion flakes
  • Diced bacon (or any meat of choice – you can also skip this to make it a vegetarian recipe)
  • Mozzarella
  • Corn chips
  • Salt and pepper

How to:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 200 degree C. Spray some cooking spray on the oven tray and line the corn chips.
  • In a pan, cook the meat and keep aside.
  • Place the tomatoes in a bowl and mash with your hands to create a lumpy texture. Add the corn, kidney beans, cumin, paprika flakes and the meat pieces. Add salt and pepper as
    per taste. Stir well. If it gets too liquidy due to the tomatoes, drain away some of the juice.
  • Place this mix on top of the corn chips in the oven tray. Top with cheese.
  • Bake this in the oven for about twenty minutes or till the cheese melts.

2. Healthy Avocados Nachos Recipe:

You need:

  • Corn chips
  • Cheese
  • Black or red kidney beans
  • Sliced avocado
  • Sour cream

For the salsa:

  • Chopped tomatoes, green and red capsicum, red onion, coriander leaves, sugar, salt and pepper.

How to:

  • In a bowl mix all the ingredients for the salsa and keep aside
  • Heat a grill. Place the corn chips on a plate and add some cheese. Now add the beans and a bit of the salsa. Keep layering in the same way.
  • Place it in the oven and grill it for about 3 to 4 minutes or till the cheese is melted.
  • Serve this with the salsa, avocado and sour cream.

3. Cheese Nachos:

You need:

  • Mild taco sauce
  • Shredded cheese
  • Nacho chips
  • Sour cream optional
  • Black olives sliced

How to:

  • In a microwave plate layer the chips in a single layer.
  • Add the taco sauce over the chips. Sprinkle with cheese. Add the olives.
  • Microwave this for about a minute or till the cheese melts.
  • Serve the sour cream as a dip.

4. Baked Nachos:

You need:

  • Tortilla chips
  • Black beans
  • Meat of choice
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • For topping – lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, black olives, onion, jalapeno pepper, salsa and sour cream

How to:

  • Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cover a baking dish with foil and spray with some cooking spray. Add the nachos at the bottom of the dish in single layer. Layer with meat and beans. Add the cheese on top.
  • Bake this for about ten minutes or till the cheese gets melted. As it is baking, chop and dice the topping ingredients.
  • Get out of the oven and add the toppings.

5. Vegetable Nachos:

You need:

  • Olive oil
  • Chopped onion, tomatoes, garlic, fresh coriander
  • Pinto beans
  • Corn chips
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream

How to:

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  • In a pan, heat the oil and add the onion and garlic. Cook for about five minutes. Add the tomatoes and beans. Add some water or let it cook in the juice of the tomato. Let the mix come to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook on simmer for about fifteen minutes or till the mixture becomes thick.
  • Place the corn chips in an oven plate. Add the mix on top and sprinkle cheese. Bake this for about ten minutes or till the cheese starts to melt.
  • Serve with the sour cream and coriander.
