Here are a few easy to create super fun lion craft ideas for kids that are sure to attract!

1. Paper Plate Lion Mask Peek-A-Boo:

This cute paper plate lion craft lets your kid show his face while having a head full of the lion’s mane.

You Will Need:

  • Chart papers in different colors like yellow, orange and brown
  • A pair of safety scissors
  • Glue
  • A big sized paper plate
  • Threads (optional)

How To:

  • Help your kid cut long and wide strips from all the chart papers.
  • Trace a circle in the center of the paper plate.
  • Help your kid cut this circle.
  • Now help your kid glue the colorful strips all around the paper plate, starting from the center where he has mad

2. Cute Felt Lion With Shapes:

You Will Need:

  • Felt in colors like yellow, gray and white
  • Pink sketch pen
  • Safety scissors
  • Glue
  • Black wiggly eyes

How To:

  • Let him use the gray felt to cut long strips to form the mane of a lion and small ones to make the tip of the tail.
  • He can use the yellow felt to cut two big ovals to make the body and face, four medium ovals to make the ears and paws and a little strip to make the tail.
  • He should also use the white felt to cut out circles to make the paw prints and cut an oval to form the mouth.
  • Help your kid glue the different parts together.
  • Stick the black wiggly eyes to the face.

You Will Need:

  • A pumpkin
  • Watercolors in yellow and orange colors
  • Pumpkin peels from a different pumpkin or yellow or orange chart paper
  • Black chart paper
  • Black thread
  • Black wiggly eyes
  • Safety scissors
  • Glue

How To:

Help your kid in painting the entire pumpkin in a mix of yellow and orange color.

  • If you are using the pumpkin peels for this craft then help your kid glue these around the pumpkin to make the lion’s mane.
  • Help your kid cut strips of chart paper using the safety scissors.
  • Help glue these around the pumpkin to make the lion’s mane.
  • Help your kid cut out two circles and a triangle from the black chart paper and glue these on as eyes and nose.

You can use simple things readily available at home to make this craft.

  • Brown paper bag
  • Safety scissors
  • Chart paper in yellow, white, pink and black
  • Glue

How To:

  • Help your child cut out a big circle from the brown paper bag and make cuts all around it to create the mane.
  • Help your kid cut out the face and ears using yellow chart paper.
  • Help him make the teeth and eyes using white chart paper.
  • Help him cut out the pink chart paper to make the inside of the mouth.
  • You can help your child cut whiskers, nose and eyes using black chart paper.

Your kid can create this cute lion using a disposable paper cup.

You Will Need:

  • A paper cup
  • Yellow paper
  • Yellow and black paint

  • Orange wool
  • Pair of black wiggly eyes
  • Black felt
  • Sticks
  • Black sketch pen
  • Safety scissors

How To:

  • Help cut out a paper cup from the middle.
  • Help your kid color the base of the cup in yellow.
